Local agreement properties
- Process type
-
Formal structured process
- Rationale
- This agreement was concluded with mediation support from MINUSCA and the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue. The Anti-Balaka and 3R, two of the five armed groups party to this agreement, have previously signed a peace agreement in Bouar (Acte d'Engagement Entre Les Groupes Anti-Balakas de la Nana Membere et 3R, 14/12/2017).
- Is there a documented link to a national peace process?
- No
- Link to national process: articulated rationale
- While the agreement references dialogue processes in the African Union (p.1), neither the agreement text nor limited background research suggests a link to the national-level peace process.
