- Agreement informing on the GRP and MILF Peace Panels meeting. The GRP Panel presented its proposal for autonomy and, with the view of amending the ARMM Organic Act, the GRP Panel requested the MILF Panel review and submit comments on the proposal by 7 June, 2000. The Technical Working Groups (TWGs) were instructed to meet 15 June, 2000, to establish points of consensus on the clustered Agenda Items and to prepare finalized drafts of their positions papers. The Peace Panels agreed to meet again on 28 June, 2000 to consider the details of the GRP proposed concept of autonomy and the TWGs finalized drafts of their position papers.

The GRP and MILF panels met on 30 May - 1 June 2000 at the Estosan Garden Hotel, Cotabato City.
At the meeting the GRP Panel presented its proposal for a meaningful autonomy as embodied in [illgible].
In view of the 30 June 2000 deadline set by the President and the need to ammende the ARMM Organic Act, the GRP panel requested the MILF panel to submit comments on the proposal by June 7 2000.
It further proposed that the two panels meet in Davao City on 9 June 2000 to consider the substance and details of the conceit of autonomy.
The MILF panel recieved the proposal with the commitment that this will be subject to further discussion, the two panels agreed that the MILF comments be submitted to the GRP on 21 June 2000 to allow consultations on the matter.
The technical working groups (TWGs) of the two panels will meet again on 14-15 June 2000, Cotabato City to establish points of consensus on the clustered agenda items and submit the draft of their final position papers on 28 June 2000 to the peace panels for consideration.
