- This is an addition to the agreement signed on 26/07/2006 between the MRC and the RDC government. It provides for an information campaign to regroup MRC contingents, transport facilities and budget for the campaign, identity cards for civilian population, formalisation of the amnesty for MRC members and presence of specialised units for the protection of children.

AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO AND THE CONGOLESE REVOLUTIONARY MOVEMENT (MRC) IN THE PRESENCE OF MONUC
The delegations of the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Politico-Military Movement (Mouvement Politico-Militaire, MRC) met on 26 July at Kambutso (Djugu Territory, Ituri) to find a peaceful solution to the armed conflict.
MONUC was present at the meeting in the role of facilitator/observer.
After discussion, the parties agreed the following:
a general amnesty for all MRC members involved in the process;
the integration (which implies free movement) of MRC leaders, regrouping of all contingents in locations to be determined during the technical meeting, logistical assistance, return of arms to arms stores, pre-incorporation of troops in the centre of Rwapara, pre-deployment of troops within the FARDC units developing in Ituri;
Establishment of a mixed technical team of FARDC, MRC, MONUC, and other partners.
