Ceasefire Implementation Agreement for the Governorate of al-Hajjah, signed in Dharan al-Janoub
In the Name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds and peace and blessings be upon the last Prophet and Messenger and his blessed companions.
With the Grace of Allah, a verification of what has been agreed upon was achieved today, Monday, 26/6/1437 corresponding to 4/4/2016 at 1750 confirming what has been agreed upon and signed between the Yemeni brothers on Saturday, 24/6/1437 corresponding to 2/4/2016.
New complementary provisions were added to the agreement based on the following:
1. Forming a field military committee within 24 hours from this date made up of 3 members from each party plus 3 members representing the Coalition.
This committee shall be tasked with overseeing the implementation of the cease fire in all fighting sectors in Meidi and Haradh Districts in Hajja.
2. The military committee shall identify the demarcation line separating the forces and locations of breaking the engagements between the two parties in the Districts of Meidi and Haradh in Hajja Governorate.
Implementation shall begin as soon as the agreement is signed under the auspices of representatives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
3. Reopening the border point of Haradh - Attuwal in Hajja Governorate for relief and humanitarian needs only and that shall be managed by a military committee made up from both parties under the oversight of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
4. Releasing all detainees from both sides in the Districts of Meidi and Haradh in the Governorate of Hajja by direct contacts between the two sides and exchanging and verifying information.
This task shall be completed within 72 hours from this date.
At the end of the meeting, both parties valued the great efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in solving the Yemeni crisis and bringing all parties together in order to reach full and inclusive solutions serving the interest of the Yemeni people.
Both parties also ask that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continue its positive and constructive efforts expressing a sincere desire for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to sponsor an agreement for future measures which would include some Yemeni Governorates experiencing armed conflicts between the two parties, especially the Governorate of Taiz.
