COMMUNICATION NO.

4 OF THE NATIONAL ROUNDTABLE FOR DIALOGUE AND NEGOTIATION

San Vicente de Caguán, 19–20 November 1999

Joint preparations for the audiences.

On 4 December, the first nationwide teleconference will take place to explain to Colombians details of the public audiences in San Vicente del Caguán, guarantees for attendance and possibilities for broad participation.

The teleconference will be broadcast by Señal Colombia and Radio Nacional.

The time will be communicated to the public in a timely manner.

The venue for the public audiences will be officially opened on 23 December in Los Pozos in the municipality of San Vicente del Caguán.

A national competition will be held to choose the best poster to promote the public audiences.

This will also be a good opportunity to illustrate the freepost peace stamp that will allow the Colombian people to address correspondence to the National Thematic Committee.

The chosen design will be announced on 23 December this year.

The coordinators will propose a panel of judges comprising five people and will issue a call for submissions.

The leaflet to promote the audiences will be widely distributed via newspapers, magazines, institutions and national organisations.
